A monumental artwork making a fist for a more colorful world.

Desolate, gloomy and threatening. This is how the landscape, a swirling field of flowers, looks in the monumental work Guernica de la Ecología by artist and eco-activist Claudy Jongstra. The tapestry denounces the treatment of nature and calls for biodiversity, the dignity of craftsmanship and the restoration of healthy agriculture in an inclusive working environment.

Guernica de la Ecología is more than a piece of art. The tapestry travels around the world to stimulate dialogue, a conversation piece for addressing a society in which certain groups cannot participate & to create awareness about the deforestation of nature.
